David De Gea has said that he feels “very loved” at Manchester United amid reports linking the goalkeeper with a transfer to Real Madrid.
The Spain international has been reported as a target for the Champions League champions and it has even been rumored that he could be involved as part of swap deal with Gareth Bale next summer.
De Gea insists that he is unsure about whether Real Madrid are really interested in signing him – and Spanish International is staying focused on performing for Premier League giants Manchester United.
“I feel very loved at Manchester United,” De Gea told La Sexta.
“It’s difficult to know whether an offer will come from Real Madrid because there’s chatter in the press. I feel very wanted in Manchester.
“If you looked at what is said about you in the media, you would think you were at thousands of clubs, so you have to be focused on where you are.”
