MANCHESTER - Manchester United manager David Moyes is reportedly ready to offer a contract extension to Nemanja Vidic in order to maintain the player at Old Trafrford .

Moyes is not willing to lose Vidic after two United defenders Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra is expected to leave the Premier League champions on a free next season .
